Effective as of May 7th, 2026
Thank you for choosing PluralBuddy as your plurality bot of choice. This page is designed to explain how PluralBuddy stores and effectively interacts with the data that you provide in the bot. Such is very important to a bot where you provide a crucial amount of data about yourself.
If you have any questions, feel free to open a ticket at our Support Server.
1. Data we need for moderation purposes
Some data is data that we need in order to deliver our "blocking" feature to effectively remove bad actors from our bot. Such data that is included is:
- User IDs of Users using PluralBuddy (or have ever used PluralBuddy)
- Guild IDs of Guilds using PluralBuddy (or have ever invited PluralBuddy)
- Certain message data when proxying with your alters such as:
- Message ID of original message
- ID of original Discord account which the message was sent (aka System ID)
- When the message is created
- ID of alter which proxied the message
Data related to messages will be deleted immediately upon deletion of the native proxied message.
If you would like to request having all data from either your user or guild removed, please open a ticket at our Support Server.
2. Handling of users under 13
We do not knowingly store data of users under 13 years of age (or other age based on country). If you know any user using any one of our PluralBuddy-related services (support server, OAuth applications, bot, etc.), please report it to us and Discord in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service.
3. Data provided by you
3a. Data deletion
If you want to delete your system and all related data (in exception to media [see below] and for moderation purposes), you can use the PluralBuddy application command /system delete or run in PluralBuddy's DMs or a server with PluralBuddy installed pb;s delete to delete your system data.
If you delete your system and would like to remove in addition to your system data, the media on your system, you can use the PluralBuddy application command /system delete media-included:True or run in PluralBuddy's DMs or a server with PluralBuddy installed pb;s delete -mi to delete your system data and related media.
When the media is deleted with the above method, the media will be soft-deleted for 7 days before being removed permanently (due to technical limitations, there might possibly also be an extra delay of up to 24 hours on top of the aforementioned 7 day soft-deletion period). If you would like your media gone immediately and permanently, please open a ticket in our support server.
